Empowerment of young people
It has been designed a couple of interdiac events in the working environments of partner organizations in Georgia, Serbia and Armenia to meet the social and educational needs of all those working directly with young people in youth work, social work or diaconia, as paid workers, volunteers or activists. It has a social focus on marginalised young people and is geared to the need to promote non-formal learning. The learning is focused on the theme of the empowerment, inclusion and active participation of young people from disadvantaged social backgrounds and affected by different kinds of social exclusion and poverty. The involvement of young people in civil society through their organisations or through other civil associations and opening opportunities (local and international) to youth volunteering, as well as working on social inclusion, were the main topics of the workshop.
